Valentine's Eats for Your Sweet!

Valentine's Eats for Your Sweet!

Whether you’re celebrating with a loved one or with your gal pals, Valentine’s day is full of wining and dining.

I prefer not to go out to dinner on Valentine’s day. My idea of a perfect date is creating something with my husband (and I’m not just talking about kids here). Spending time together in the kitchen, creating a meal together is way more enjoyable than going out and sitting in an uncomfortable booth at an overcrowded restaurant with corny decorations and candles and overpriced meals.

So maybe try something a little different this year. Put on your aprons and be together in all the silly moments, the messy moments, and the rewarding moments.

I’ve picked some of my favorites that I hope you enjoy cooking together!

If you’re wanting a fun drink to add to your dinner, grab a nice bottle of champagne and a pint of raspberry or strawberry sorbet. Put one scoop of sorbet in your champagne glass and add the champagne. It’s not only beautiful, but it’s super tasty! A non-alcoholic version of this is to add the sorbet to club soda or coconut water.

I hope you enjoy your Valentine’s day with your loved one, gal pal, or kids. Take time out of the day to recognize love and really enjoy the people in your life that love you!

So go get to cooking, eating, and snuggling up to a good movie under a fuzzy blanket!

Keep cooking, friends!
